維護家庭基金對 Ashley Madison 網站在港啟動經營的看法
在通訊自由的年代，網上社交活動頻繁，而超越道德界限和引起道德爭議的網站一直在本地及國際間存在，多不勝數，加上我們亦相信這網站不會是最後一個。
故此我們除了清晰地表達反對這個內容具爭議性質的網站在香港營運的說法之外，同樣站在較為積極的角度看，我們反而希望藉今次這個網站快將在香港營運的事件，提醒本地的夫婦要對網上的複雜社交世界保持高度清醒和距離，並且自己夫婦二人要盡快彼此坦誠檢視目前的婚姻質素。當感到有潛在的挑戰或困難時，要不忌諱地一起尋求外界專業協助，包括性關係、溝通及相處情況。一個健康穩固的婚姻關係有助家庭和夫婦二人積極面對外在複雜多變的世界。政府、教會、學校及家庭服務機構要繼續努力協助市民建立積極健康的婚姻及家庭價值；重塑青年一代對婚姻及家庭的承擔，這樣才是社會長遠應對的方法。
維護家庭基金再此提醒市民，在本港雖然婚外情並不像有些其他的國家或地區般構成刑事罪行，但當事人同樣有機會要承擔法律後果，包括在離婚的情況下。在婚姻法中，通姦可成為申請離婚的事件證據之一，以示該段婚姻已經「破裂至無可挽救」。
故此維護家庭基金在此以公開表達，並呼籲更多社會各界人士支持有關看法，維護香港的家庭和婚姻:
1. 我們尊重一夫一妻的婚姻價值，夫婦堅守彼此結婚時的承諾，即是無論環境順逆，疾病健康，永遠愛慕尊重對方，終生不渝。
2. 我們反對任何婚外情的行為，以致破壞家庭中夫婦彼此之間的信任、承諾及愛情。我們反對 Ashley Madison 的網站在香港啟動。

Our views to the Launching of this dating website in Hong Kong
The potential harm of this kind of dating website to the permanence of marriage is obvious without doubts. Even in Hong Kongwhere extra-marital affairs is not itself a criminal offense, it may have legal consequences, particularly in cases of divorce. It is a good opportunity for Hong Kong couples to be alarmed now by knowing about this website's launch, in order to revisit the marital relationship with his/her spouse as soon as possible.
Many marriages today do not last for long for many different reasons. Couples should build strong relationship with trust and of the commitment, so that they can keep their marriage away from the temptations of extra-marital affairs. Although there are many reasons on why marriages fail, the fact is that marriages do not just finish overnight. There are many signs staying in the marriage for a long time which has shown that your marriage has been having problems, such as lack of intimacy and lack of communications.
My Foundation advised that Hong Kong couples should pay special attention to the overwhelming temptations of affairs from the cyber world.
